Fitted with replaceable cutting knives and fully encased nose knives, the jaw design drives materials deep where the maximum cutting power is available. The body ensures extreme durability for long-lasting use.
Featuring a robust rotating upper head and a heavy-duty, double-rowed slewing ring, the hydraulic motor and gearbox in the upper head generate high torque, allowing the RSS Series to be maneuvered into any position with ease.
Rotar’s unique hydraulic cylinder with an integrated speed valve enables the jaws to close quickly while the RSS Series effortlessly switches from speed to power mode as soon as additional cutting power is needed.
The double hose connection on the swivel and the large diameter of hoses, bores, and pipes ensure optimal oil flow. This design prevents heat buildup in the hydraulic system and reduces fuel consumption, improving overall efficiency.
