Hydraulic Breakers
Variable Breakers
Six models from V32 to V7000, automatically adapting impact energy and frequency to material hardness across 18 to 120 tonne carriers. Mixed-strata mining, tunnelling, underwater and extreme-environment work where one breaker has to do everything.

Variable-power hydraulic breakers
One breaker, all conditions, variable hydraulics adjust power and frequency to the rock, not the operator.
The Variable range is Montabert's flagship technology. A patented all-hydraulic variable-power system continuously reads material resistance and adjusts impact energy and frequency on the fly, no electronics, no operator input, no manual adjustment. The same breaker that's running fast on soft strata throttles up to high-energy mode the moment it hits a hard seam. Because the system is hydraulic rather than electronic, the V-series performs in extreme cold, extreme heat, underwater and in environments where electronic controls would fail. Six models cover excavators from 18 to 120 tonnes. Distributed and supported in Australia by Monty Products.
Auto-Adapting Power
Reads material resistance and adjusts impact energy and frequency continuously. The breaker matches the rock without operator input.
All-Hydraulic, No Electronics
The variable system runs entirely on hydraulic circuits. No electronic controls means reliable operation underwater, in extreme cold or extreme heat.
Mixed-Ground Specialist
When ground conditions change layer-to-layer, the V-series keeps the cycle moving with no compromise between productivity and precision.

Where each model sits across the range. Lighter on the left, heavier on the right.
Where It Works
Common applications across Australian construction, demolition and civil sites.
Mixed-strata mining
Surface and underground work where ground conditions change shot-to-shot. The variable system follows the material.
Tunnelling
Drift and tunnel excavation where confined-space work demands precise impact control without manual intervention.
Underwater & extreme environments
All-hydraulic operation runs reliably underwater and in extreme cold or heat, no electronics to fail.
Variable demolition
Mixed-material structures where reinforced concrete sits next to brick or sandstone, adapts mid-pass.
Quarrying & civil
Primary rock breaking, oversize secondary reduction and major infrastructure works.
Heavy reinforced concrete
Dense rebar, post-tensioned slabs and heavy footings where the right impact energy varies through the cut.
