The Rotar RPG Series is the workhorse of scrap yards and bulk handling sites. Five models, three 4-segment and two 6-segment, cover excavators from 16 to 50 tonnes, with shell volumes from 450 L (RPG 4-450) up to 800 L (RPG 6-800). Lift capacities reach 10 t. HARDOX® shells with manganese-steel tips, sealed pivot points with wide bushes, end-cushioning cylinders and a pressure-relief valve protect the system through impact loads. Distributed in Australia by Monty Products.
HARDOX® + Manganese Tips
Wear-resistant shells in HARDOX® steel with manganese-steel tips. Long bearing pivot points with wide bushes, sealed against grease and dust for optimum lubrication and long shell life.
Strong Rotating Upper Head
High-torque hydraulic motor in the upper head with heavy-duty slewing ring. Handles heavy loading from any position with full lift force regardless of orientation.
End-Cushioned Cylinders
Cylinders fitted with end-cushioning that absorb the heavy shock loads orange-peel grabs see daily, plus a pressure-relief valve protecting the system from peak pressures.
