HPL/HEX Series, screening drums
The original Rotar invention, drum capacity to 3,000 L, the largest screening surface on the market.
In the late 1970s, Rotar founder Hendrick Pleysier invented the screening drum to replace expensive, labour-intensive slab-washing methods, and forty-plus years later it remains the most efficient on-site solution for screening, sorting, washing, mixing and cleaning materials. Eight models cover excavators (HEX) from 15 to 35 tonnes and wheel loaders (HPL) of any size, with drum capacities from 800 L to 3,000 L. The new EVO operating system removes the need for electrical control, connect two hydraulic hoses and start screening. Distributed in Australia by Monty Products.
The Original Pleysier Design
Invented by Rotar founder Hendrick Pleysier in the late 1970s to replace labour-intensive slab washing, refined across four decades to remain the market reference.
EVO Operating System
New EVO operating system eliminates electrical control, connect two hydraulic hoses to your excavator or wheel loader and start screening. Fewer failure points, simpler setup.
Largest Surface on the Market
Drum capacities from 800 L to 3,000 L give the largest screening surface available, handles materials of any shape or size with high throughput.

Where It Works
Common applications across Australian construction, demolition and civil sites.
Soil screening
Separate fines from coarse aggregate, clean topsoil and engineered fill on landscape and civil sites.
Compost & topsoil
Process organic material and topsoil to consistent particle size for landscaping and reuse.
Rubble separation
Screen demolition rubble, recover aggregate, separate fines, eliminate haulage of waste fines.
Aggregate sizing
On-site aggregate production for quarries, recycling sites, road base and construction material.
Material washing
Wash and clean aggregate during screening, removes contamination from recycled materials.
On-site recycling
Recover saleable aggregate from demolition material without offsite haulage cycles.
