The Rotar RG Series is the most versatile grab line in the Rotar catalogue, ten models cover the full excavator spectrum from 2 to 70 tonnes. Standard perforated shells with optional closed or rib-shells means there's a configuration for any application: demolition, sorting, scrap, recycling. HARDOX® shells feature rotatable, replaceable cutting edges, mounted in long-bearing pivots with hardened oversized pins. Every cylinder includes a load-control valve protecting against unintended shell opening. Distributed in Australia by Monty Products.
HARDOX® Shells, Rotatable Edges
Wear-resistant shells in HARDOX® steel with easily replaceable, rotatable cutting edges. Mounted in long-bearing pivots within a double-walled body with hardened oversized pins, built for long durability under abrasive loads.
Heavy-Duty Slewing Ring
Strong rotating upper head with double-rowed slewing ring and high-torque hydraulic motors. Handles heavy loading from any position with full lift force regardless of orientation.
Load-Control on Every Cylinder
Every RG cylinder has a load-control valve protecting against unintended shell opening, plus extra-long stroke ensuring full closure even when the cutting edges have worn.
